“Law School:” ‘My Cousin Vinny’ style
CLE credit available

Who needs law school when you have the great Vincent Gambini?
Most people find the legal system boring and confusing – with good reason. But lawsuits do not need to be a mystery. The 1992 film My Cousin Vinny and Patrick O’Rourke, University Counsel for CU and an experienced litigator, can help solve the puzzle.
At the upcoming Edu-Talks, you’ll learn everything you need to know about litigation with help from your favorite lawyer, Vincent Gambini (Joe Pesci) and his quick-witted fiancé, Mona Lisa Vito (Marissa Tomei). Using examples from the film, CU’s University Counsel will help you understand how a trial works and provide guidance on whether or not to pursue or defend a lawsuit.
Registered attorneys who attend can receive one general continuing legal education (CLE) credit. A course number to register credits with the Colorado Bar Association will be available on site.
